Our take
James Oro Reserve Titan is an acetate frame from James Oro, listed at $165 on www.jamesoro.com in the Reserve colorway. The Titan family: the brand's signature rectangular frame in 8 mm bevelled acetate with the enamel "O" emblem on the temples; 148 mm wide, with an XL version at 155.7 mm. The store lists it at 148mm across the front; our size guide explains what that means on your face. Lens width is 54mm.
On price it sits in the middle of the James Oro range. It suits anyone who wants a heavy, sculpted frame that reads as a statement from across the room; the 8 mm front is thicker than almost any mainstream brand.

Questions about the James Oro Reserve Titan
What size is the James Oro Reserve Titan?
The store lists a frame width of 148mm. Lens width is 54mm. Compare the frame width with a pair you already own; our size guide explains which widths suit narrow, average and wide faces, and the XL versions of the Titan, Dune, Opus and Authentic II add a few millimetres.
Are the lenses polarized?
Most James Oro frames ship with a standard tinted lens; a polarized lens is offered as a $30 upgrade on some colorways, shown under "Options in stock" above. Clear and blue-light versions are not sunglasses. See our lens guide.
What warranty and returns apply?
James Oro covers manufacturing defects for 365 days from purchase and accepts free US returns or exchanges within 14 days of delivery on unused items in original packaging. Sale items and mystery boxes are final sale, and international orders are final sale except for defects. Details are in our James Oro review.
Can I get prescription lenses in the James Oro Reserve Titan?
Not from the store directly: James Oro says prescription lenses are available through a partner site linked from its homepage, and its warranty excludes issues connected to prescription lenses. Any optician can also glaze a full-rim acetate or metal frame; rimless and gem-cut frames are harder to re-lens.
Where can I buy the James Oro Reserve Titan?
Directly from www.jamesoro.com, the brand's own store. FrameNotes does not sell frames.
